The GE-Reagan Foundation Scholarship Program honors the legacy and character of our nation's 40th President by rewarding college-bound students who demonstrate exemplary leadership, drive, integrity, and citizenship with financial assistance to pursue higher education. Through the generous support of GE, this national program annually awards $10,000 renewable scholarships to numerous students.

The Initiative shall work with agencies, private-sector employers, educational associations, philanthropic organizations, and other partners to increase the capacity and competitiveness of HBCUs to provide the highest-quality education to an increasing number of students. Reagan Academy is a K-8 public charter school. Our vision is to instill in each child a lifelong love of learning and serving by challenging their mind and nurturing their heart. We Inspire

The SME Education Foundation inspires the next generation of manufacturing and engineering talent through the Student Summit event series at SME conferences and trade shows across the country, delivering student-centric programming, hands-on challenges and competitions, technology demonstrations, and guided show floor tours.

We Prepare

The SME Education Foundation prepares manufacturing and engineering talent through the SME PRIME initiative by partnering with industry to inform and provide modern equipment, tailored curriculum, and hands-on training to high schools across the country.

We Support

The SME Education Foundation supports next-generation manufacturing and engineering talent by annually awarding millions of dollars in scholarships to high school seniors, undergraduates and graduate students pursuing two-year, four-year and advanced degrees in manufacturing or engineering.

2019 Annual Report

The SME Education Foundation celebrated its 40th anniversary in 2019, capping off four decades of giving to educational initiatives and STEM-related programming across the country. Today, the mission of the Foundation is as relevant as it was in 1979 -- perhaps more so. Last year saw tremendous growth and achievement, and we’re pleased to share our 2019 Annual Report with you.
